Banco S. Geminiano and S. Prospero S.C. he was an Italian credit institution. It is a brand of Banco BPM, after having been previously from December 27, 2011 until January 1, 2017 of the former Banco Popolare, which is present in Emilia-Romagna, Lombardy and Marche; it is also a Territorial Directorate based in Modena of the Banca Popolare di Verona Division which heads the Cassa di Risparmio di Imola area.
Banco S. Geminiano and S. Prospero was born in 1932 in Modena from the merger of Banco S. Geminiano founded in Modena in 1897 and Banco S. Prospero founded in Reggio Emilia in 1899.
In 1996, following the merger by incorporation into Banca Popolare di Verona, Banca Popolare di Verona was established - Banco S. Geminiano and S. Prospero A limited liability cooperative company based in Verona and management offices in Verona and Modena, of which it became a brand name.
From 1 June 2002 to 30 June 2007 it was a brand of the Banco Popolare di Verona and Novara holding.
From 1 July 2007 to 27 December 2011 it was a brand of Banca Popolare di Verona - S. Geminiano and S. Prospero, when following its merger into the parent company Banco Popolare, it became a brand of the former banking group.
Following the merger between Banco Popolare and Banca Popolare di Milano, it is a trademark of Banco BPM's commercial network that distinguishes its branches located mainly in Emilia-Romagna (excluding the provinces of Parma and Piacenza) and marginally in Lombardy in the province of Mantua and in the Marche region in the province of Pesaro and Urbino.
