The Tuscan Society of Horticulture was born in 1854 on the initiative of the Georgofili Academy, with the aim of encouraging and promoting horticulture in Tuscany. After almost two centuries, its cultivation activity continues, not only with the organization of flower-nursery market exhibitions and training courses on horticulture, gardening, garden architecture and agriculture, but also thanks to a library equipped with numerous volumes ancient and a historical archive: concrete evidence of its importance at national and international level.
