Founded in 1904, the cooperative association had 485 members in 1914 and distributed goods for around 350,000 lire. Like many agricultural consortia of the time, it was registered with the Italian Federation of Agricultural Consortiums or Federconsorzi, founded in Piacenza in 1892 as a tool for collective purchases to obtain a reduction in the agricultural market. It changed its name to the Provincial Agricultural Cooperative Consortium of Asti, which later merged into the Agricultural Consortium of the Provinces of the North West in the course of a synergy to strengthen the supply of products and services for agriculture.
