Description

Eni Gas Gpl was the brand that put LPG on the market for Eni's domestic, industrial, craft or agricultural use.

The origins of AgipGas are placed after World War II, when ENI, under the guidance of Enrico Mattei, became one of the protagonists of the Italian economic miracle. As for the Supercortemaggiore petrol, also for this product it will be marketed focusing on its Italian origin. The historic AgipGas brand dates back to the billboard created by Federico Seneca (1952) and represents a cat-like creature with only three legs and a flame on its tail. Today, however, this brand is obsolete and, like the entire Eni group, AgipGas also uses the six-legged dog. In recent times, it has been replaced by Eni Gas LPG.

Eni distributes ENI LPG gas through cylinders and small tanks (suitable for domestic or artisan use) or ducted systems and networks (suitable for industry). In December 1997 AgipGas obtained ISO 9002 certification and in December 2003 ISO 9001: 2000 certification, in accordance with Vision 2000 guidelines for LPG storage and its bottling and distribution facilities.
