The Albosaggia hydroelectric power plant is a flowing water plant, with a catchment area of 5.71 km, and a Pelton type alternator / turbine unit with horizontal axis.

The plant, built in 1922 by the Sartorelli company [1], was completely rebuilt and automated in 1982 and is operated by remote control from the Sondrio Telecommunications Center. Currently it is part of the facilities of the Lombardy Territorial Unit of Enel Green Power.

The outlet, located on the Torchione stream, in the Paradiso area, supplied to be inserted in the loading dock and is installed by a grid in a valley of the part in a long free channel 306 m.

From the loading tank, located at an altitude of 620.00 m asl, part a 304.50-meter-long underground buried pipeline with a diameter of 0.30 m.
