The company of Electric Tramways from Vanves to Paris and Extensions (TEVP) was created in Paris on July 24, 1900, to operate a tramway between Vanves and the Champ-de-Mars in Paris where the Universal Exhibition of 1900 is located. replaces Mr. Louis-Marie Josserand de Raguet de Brancion de Liman who obtained on 1 the concession of the Vanves - Champ-de-Mars line.
The company was ephemeral since in front of various problems, it had to suspend the operation of the trams and was declared bankrupt in 1904. The forfeiture of the concession is then ordered in 1912 and the line is decommissioned on October 16, 19172.
Line layout
It left Vanves to enter Paris by the Brancion gate then take the Brancion street and join the Champ-de-Mars. Its length was 5.3 km.
Power supply
The TPVE company, not having received the authorization to electrify the tracks located in Paris by overhead wire, used the Diatto surface stud power supply system.
