Bellosguardo is an area of Florence, located in the south-west, located on a small hill from which you can enjoy a view of the historic city center.

The view is narrower than that which is embraced by other places (for example Piazzale Michelangelo) but equally suggestive and almost unknown to tourism, at least to the "mass" one. There are many villas some of which of Renaissance origin, which have hosted, over the centuries, many famous people, as evidenced by the plaques affixed by the City (for example Giuseppe Garibaldi, Ugo Foscolo, Alberto Mario, Henry James, Florence Nightingale and others ).
